Facts on Biblical Healing

God's will is for us to expect to receive divine healing every time we are attacked.

We are commanded to heal all of the sick; we do not need a special "leading or unction."

Every believer already has all the authority they need to minister healing.

Every believer can minister healing effectively.

God's desire is to heal ALL of our diseases just as He forgives ALL of our sins.

Jesus never asked God the Father to heal anyone, He commanded healing and deliverance.

Jesus healed thousands at a time without requiring them to repent or believe for themselves.

Great faith is not necessary or the key to receiving divine healing from disease.

The disciples did not "intercede" for healing; they commanded spirits of infirmity to leave.

Our traditions about healing have hindered us from demonstrating the power of God.

Unconfessed sins may make people sick but they do not keep them from being healed.

Jesus healed them all, regardless of their level of faith, or if they wanted to be healed.

Jesus never tried to find the root cause of the illness or the sin that "opened the door."

Jesus was never prevented from healing due to "Generational Curses".

Jesus taught the disciples to command spirits of infirmity to leave rather than to intercede or to convince them to leave.

We are commanded to lay hands on the sick.

The commandment to heal the sick is sufficient without a rhema word or special leading.

Healing sometimes takes time to manifest, while miracles are usually instant.

Healing for every illness has already been provided by Christ's beating at the whipping post.

God is an equal opportunity healer, He is not a respector of persons.

God is never the cause of a delay in healing.

God never causes illness to teach us a lesson; it is never His will for us to be sick.

We are to command the power of God without picking and choosing who is worthy.

We have authority to cast out even the devils that people think they want to keep.

Signs and wonders follow believers.

We do not wait for a new command every time somone needs healing.

The Holy Spirit, in you, is always instantly available to destroy the works of the devil wherever you are, whenever the need arises.

God will heal through any believer, because it is not about us, but about His goodness.

Every believer is God's child, man's servant and the devil's master.

We don't beg God for healing; we proclaim freedom for the captives and/or prisoners.

There is no one who is so bad that God will not heal them.

The main hindrance to receiving healing, is believing that there are hindrances to receiving healing.

Because Christ is in you, you already have all the power and anointing that you need.

God's anointing which abides within you is always ready to heal and is always willing.

Sickness is the devil's work and Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil.

We must exercise our authority, and refuse to accept any returning sicknesses.

Returning to sin can enable a spirit of infirmity to return but it does not give them the authority to return.

We will reap what we sow. If we sow death and destruction we will reap there of.

God's Way Works

Once there were two identical twin sisters. One was named Suzy and one Cindy. They both got sick and were diagnosed with the same kind of cancer at the same stage of destruction.

Suzy’s doctor was a lost believer and told her she had six months to live without treatment and that she’d have a better chance to live with radical manmade medicines.

Cindy’s doctor was a believer who actually believed ALL of God’s word. Cindy’s doctor deciding to believe God at His word told Cindy that everything was going to be OK. He prayed for Cindy and chose not to declare what the test results showed.

As time went by Suzy became very ill due her doctors continual reports (declarations) and the medicine recommended by him. She focused on what she was told by the doctor and felt as if there was no hope.

While her sister Cindy prayed and kept remembering what the word of God said (by His stripes you were healed) and what her doctor told her (declared) and she slowly recovered.

Every day we all face choices. Every time Satan attacks he comes against the word of God to try and get you to believe anything else other than what God has already said, just like he did with Eve in the garden of Eden.

We must make a conscious choice to believe God’s word above ALL else. Above our situations, our feelings, our circumstances, even what we see (walk by faith and NOT by sight) God’s word is not contingent upon such things. His word is forever settled in heaven. The word says whatsoever (anything) we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven, the binding and the loosing starts here with us. We must take up our shield of faith and make a stand.
God is not playing puppet master. He told man from the beginning “take dominion”. We have to take charge of our own lives, our own circumstances and of those around us whom the devil is attacking. God has left things in your hands to work and to will His perfect pleasure.
Know His word, His will and enforce it as an ambassador of the Kingdom of heaven.
The annointed One lives within you!

Am I sure I am Going to Heaven? ( Intro to Grace)

Living with the uncertainty of whether or not you are going to heaven can leave you living your life trying to obtain approval from God. Your failures and sins can feel like heavy weights dragging you down and the insecurity of your future does nothing but hinder your walk with God. As believers in Christ we need to confidently be sure of our eternity.
There is nothing you can do to get to heaven. If there was something Christ's death would have been a waste of time. The bible tells us that Jesus was sent not to condemn us, but to bring us eternal life! (John 3:16)  All we have to do is believe Him and who He is! Most Christians know this but only understand half. Before we go on, open your heart to what the bible really says and not what you've been taught. Don't just take my word for it.  Look in your bible and talk to God to reveal the truth. The sooner you understand the reality and truth of the Gospel and Jesus, the sooner your life will be positively impacted not just for yourself but people around you. Never forget you may be the only light someone will ever see.
Eternal life is a gift from God that we can either accept through Jesus or reject. Our good actions will not get us to heaven and our bad actions will not get us to hell. Wow! Our bad actions won't send us to hell?  No. A great example of this was the criminal that was beside Jesus on the cross. This man"s life was obviously not good.  Yet when he changed his heart and asked Jesus to remember him Jesus did not say, "Forget it... you life long sinner/criminal!" But rather he said, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."(Luke 23:43~NIV)
The next most common question is, "I can be bad and do wrong all the wrong I want and still go to heaven?"  Firstly, if you truly believe in Christ and what He did for you, would you still have that desire to do bad?  No because it is no longer you who lives but Christ who lives through you (Galatians 2:20). This is good news people!  Not only did Jesus wipe away our sins from us but He has chosen to live in us! "For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles too. And here is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory."(Colossians 1:27)
The Holy Spirit only dwells in places that are perfect and righteous.  To say that the Holy Spirit lives in us is not only a great privilege but would imply we are justified and righteous. Even when you make mistakes and sin you are still perfect and righteous! If you want biblical proof of this go here .
This is the freedom in Christ! We are not striving for righteousness. Through Christ we already are! It is this fact that empowers us to truly turn from sin. To illustrate this better I like to use this example: If you were thirty years old and acted immature for a day or made an immature decision does that mean you are not thirty? Of course not. If Christ has made you righteous and you make a mistake (sin) would this make you unrighteous?  No! You are still righteous. This is because your righteousness has nothing to do with you but what Christ did for you. You are righteous and dead to sin because Christ has done it for you.  You can't undo what Christ did on the cross. All you have to do is believe.
Once you realize the abundance of grace and love from Christ you will see that sin is no longer a weight in your life. "Don't you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can't you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?" (Romans 2:4)
Now if any of you believe in Jesus and understand that He is the only way to heaven you can confidentially be sure of your place in heaven. Anything contrary to this is a lie from the devil. Now go and be free! Turn from your sin because you are already sinless in the eyes of God!  Live righteously like you already are.

Live A Life of Power, Glory and Honor to God. It's Exciting and Fun!

The Word of God is alive and if applied correctly will infect every cell in your body. When we look into God's Word we must accept everything He has to say as truth. It is when the Word of God is rightly divided in context that it bears much fruit.

God gave us His Word so that we might know Him. He sent His Son, the Word made flesh so that we might see Him. Then God allowed His Son to be beaten for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities that we might be healed. Jesus then went to the cross to bare our sins and die for us, so that we might be reconciled to God, our heavenly Father, Creator of heaven and earth. Then on the third day He rose again that we might live forever with Him. Then He returned to the Father that we might receive power.

Jesus with His own mouth stated that those who believe in Him, and the works that He did will do those works and greater works than the works that Jesus did will he do because Jesus went to the Father. That, my friend, is the kind of life that Jesus has in store for you. Jesus came to reconcile man to God and to destroy the works of the devil, and that's what those who believe in Him should be doing.

Please read on to find out how you too can destroy the works of the devil and therefore advance the kingdom of God. He is still in the healing business and desires to use people to enforce His will on the erath.

The word of God tells us that sickness and disease is oppression from the devil.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Jesus healed all who were afflicted.

Matthew 4:24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them.

He cast out devils with His word.

Matthew 8:16 When the evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.

If you are a believer you should be a disciple, studying the word to become like your heavenly Father. He gives His disciples power to heal and to cast out devils.

Mark 3:14, 15 And He ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that He might send them forth to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

He gives us power to perform good works and heal ALL, thus confirming the Word with signs and wonders.

Matthew 10:1-3 And when He had called unto him his twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

He commissions all believers to heal the sick, cleanse lepers, raise the dead, and cast out devils, because freely we have received and freely we should give.

Matthew 10:7, 8 And as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Proverbs 3:27 Do good when it is within your power to do so.

Speak with authority; knowing who you are in Christ and who He is in you, the devils have to obey the word of God.

Luke 4:36b for with authority and power He commanded the unclean spirits, and they come out.

He has given us power and authority over ALL demons. The twelve technically weren’t even saved at this point. They didn’t have the Holy Spirit living in them and we do, how much more should we be able to do what Jesus said to do?

Luke 9:1 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

We have authority over ALL the ability of the enemy. Don’t believe the devils lies. Believe God’s word and stomp on the devils head.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give YOU the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, AND over ALL the power (actual translation is ability, not power) of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus Himself, out of His own mouth, said that WHOEVER believes on Him shall do greater works than He did.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; AND greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
The meat of the Word is “DOING” God’s word.

John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to DO the will of Him that sent me, and to finish his work.

James tells us that being a doer of the word means that we know who we are in Christ, because we walk in our true nature as a new creation.

James 1:23-25 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Don’t be ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. If we are a believer, we are a joint heir with Christ, a son of God. He was the firstborn among many brethren. Being His brethren, we must also come to the knowledge of the truth and go and do as He did, which is pleasing to God. We know what God’s will is because Jesus did God’s will and we know what Jesus did. So it is our job to go and do what Jesus did and what He told us to do.

2 Timothy 3:2-7 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The “we” in the following verse is pertaining to believers. If we claim to believe we MUST walk by faith and not by what we see. Everything you see is temporal. God’s word will stand forever. Don’t put your faith or much creed in what you see, it will change. God’s word does not change.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight:

Luke 8:50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
So to sum it up, choose to B E L I E V E and D O the word and will of GOD!
It's fun beating the devil and setting people free

Do all things out of love. But what is love?

As Christians we are called to do everything out of love. But what is love? How do we define love? Is it based on our emotions or is it more than that? When we think of love what comes to our minds? Fluffy bunnies and pink hearts? Is it something only women understand? How do we define love?

One thing that is clear is that if God went as far as calling Himself love it is not merely a subject, concept or word that can be skimmed over. It is time to go back to the One called Love in order to define it. Jesus is our perfect example of what love should look like. As I went through some of the verses in the bible that talked about love, two particular words stood out repetitively, one was “Divine” and the other is “Sacrificial” (Luke 6:27). Jesus used these words to describe love. Are these the first two words that come to your mind when the word love is mentioned? Using only these two words the concept of love can be boldly stated as simple.

God is love therefore love is divine. Love is holy and righteous. Love does not cause or tempt you to sin but empowers you to turn away from it. You have heard it described commonly as being patient, kind, and not prideful (1 Corinthians 13:4), obvious characteristics of our Lord Jesus. Love is a manifestation of our God living in us.

There is no greater love than to lay down your life for another man (John 15:13). This is the selfless/sacrificial nature of love. It causes you to not think of your own well being, but the well being of others. Jesus understood this fully and made it His weapon. I do not mean this metaphorically, love was and is Jesus’ main weapon. It was a concept the devil did not understand and as a result Jesus' love for man conquered the devil and the separation between man and God. This forces us to think about love in a new way. Love is not as fluffy as society has made it out to be. Love is a lion that will devour and destroy anything that is evil. It does not fail and never gives up. Its' concern is for others, that they will be edified, made whole, and not torn down. It will take a beating, and not lose faith. It will never stand down. Love will go through the darkest pits and the most dangerous places to bring light. It does not bring fluff, but tangible hope.

With all this said what is the definition of love? To us, love is the manifestation of God living in us. To God, it is His very nature.

Jesus is Simple

Jesus was out walking on water and He called out good ol' Peter. "Hey Pete, lets go for a walk."  Pete, not wanting to loose the opportunity to walk on insanely deep water gets out of the boat. All is good until he looks around. Peter is sinking. I know, I know, this is something you learned in Sunday school. Peter sank because he lost his focus on Christ. BASIC.... right? Well it is! But our intellectual, complex, neuron stimulating thoughts seem to forget this from time to time.  Let's get back to the basics. Why? Because Christ is basic! There is beauty in simplicity! Jesus was born in a simple shelter, Jesus was born to simple parents, Jesus' messages are simple! Take them as they are! Do not add, do not interpret. If Jesus says lay hands on the sick and they will recover, then lay hands on the sick and watch them recover! If Jesus says there is no way to the Father but through Me. Then there is no way to the Father but through Him. Why do we insist that we have better ways then Jesus! Let us all stay focused on Christ in everything we do! Let's be the generation that doesn't need water wings, but instead stay focused on Christ and walk on water!

It is a relationship that will save you, not your good works.

So you ask yourself, "How do I get to heaven?" You can attempt to find the answer to this question in many places, TV, religions, traditions, etc, but wouldn't it make sense to ask the person who created heaven? That is exactly what Nicodemus did. Let's take a look at this bible verse.

John 3 (NLT)

1 There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. 2 After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”
3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”
5 Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. 7 So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”
9 “How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked.
10 Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? 11 I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. 12 But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
18 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. 19 And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. 20 All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. 21 But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”
If we look at verse 16 we find our answer. But how do we start this believing :

Romans 10:9-10 (NLT)

9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
It is a simple as that. Getting to heaven is not based on your good works or how good you are. It is based on a heart changing decision that only you can make. One that will allow the living and only God of the world to live in you. All you have to do to get to heaven and build a relationship with Christ is: out loud ask for forgiveness, believe Jesus is Lord and died to rise again to wipe sin out of your life.  No matter who you are, what you have done, this is your solution. When you do this you are now reborn into a new family. The family of God. You are God's  son. Your spirit has been born again.
